How and when to contact me
You can contact me at any stage of your pregnancy, or at any stage after the birth.
I feel it is very important to get to know you and to have had time to discuss what kind of birth you
would like, what kind of support I can offer, etc. For this reason, I would encourage you to
contact me as early on as possible. However, you can still contact me and check whether I am
available at short notice. Although this may limit the support I can give you, I recognise that
there are many reasons that you might find yourself in this position, and will do my best to offer
whatever support is appropriate.
I will meet with you to discuss which kind of support you are considering, and to agree what services
I am able to offer to you. Due to the uncertainty around the actual date of expected birth, I can
only usually commit myself to providing birth support to one woman within any four weeks.
Telephone or e-mail support is included in the Birth Support package, and I will be on-call for you 24
hours per day from two weeks before your expected date of birth.
